Lean Implementation Project - Berkshire Manufactured Products

Berkshire Manufactured Products produces a range of components, including blades and other gas turbine products for GE, Pratt & Whitney, and various jet engines used in both military and commercial aircraft.

This Lean Six Sigma training and implementation project targeted several of the company's major product lines and core processes. The training phase was conducted in partnership with the Massachusetts Workforce Development Program, with Pragmatic Consulting serving as a certified training provider.

As part of the initiative, we delivered Green Belt-level training and certification to the client's implementation team. Following this, we facilitated value stream mapping to define a “future state” that streamlined operations and resulted in $1.2 million in initial cost savings.
